PROJECT QUANTITY SURVEYOR - INTERMEDIATE - MAIN CONTRACTOR - DUBLIN
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is one of Ireland’s leading construction contractors
working on a range of projects in the Commercial, Fit Out, Residential
and Industrial sectors
They are seeking intermediate / project quantity surveyors to join the
Dublin based teams.
Responsible for the commercial and contractual performance of building
projects, the Project QS’s responsibilities fall into the following
three area
Post tender and pre contract activities: familiarisation with the
tender file and assisting with preparing commercial targets for the
project.
During the contract period: the procurement of subcontractors,
attending pre-award meetings, documentation and schedules,
applications, variation schedules, measurement, controlling accounts,
payments, in-house reports, contractual correspondence and final
account.
During the post contract period: finalise subcontractor accounts and
complete all filing and other documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management
3+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction
projects with building contractors
Strong time management skills.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation
skills.
Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site
Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet
challenging work goals
PACKAGE
Salary € *k-€ *k
depending on experience
